‘Rock USA’ 2020 has been cancelled

The 2020 ‘Rock USA’ festival – planned for July 16 – 18 at the Ford Festival Park in Oshkosh, WI – has been officially cancelled.

Organizers released the following message earlier today:

Dear Country USA and Rock USA Community,

Today, with a heavy heart, we have to let all of you know that this year’s Country USA and Rock USA music festivals will not be able to take place. This is not easy for us. Nothing pains us more than having to cancel these events that have become such a big part of our lives, our community, and our culture here in Wisconsin. We know it hurts. We so wanted to celebrate the 25th anniversary of CUSA and the 10th anniversary of RUSA, but as always, the safety of our entire festival and local community comes first.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been in constant communication with the artists, vendors, partners, and local government and health officials. On the advice of Winnebago County Health Department, we are choosing to cancel both events for the safety of this community.

From the Winnebago County Health Department:

“While the Governors orders are no longer in effect, the COVID-19 virus is still circulating in our community and is locally trending upward in terms of cases and hospitalizations. At this time the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) and the Winnebago County Health Department (WCHD) strongly recommend against holding large gathering.”

We are doing everything we can to reschedule these events for June and July of 2021, and will offer credits to all of those who previously purchased tickets to the 2020 events. Your tickets, campsites, VIP seats, and any other item for 2020, will be valid for the 2021 festivals.

Losing these festivals has been such a devastating event for all of us involved, and unfortunately, we are not able to provide any further details on the 2021 events. This is a fluid situation, and there is still so much unknown. We are doing all we can to navigate this unstable tune for our community and our company.

We are hard at work to bring these festivals into the future, and to continue to hold these two amazing events here in Oshkosh, WI. Like all of you, the Corona-virus outbreak has hit us hard, and we are doing all we can to make it through.

Thank you all for the 25 years of incredible support. We love these festivals. We love this community. We love all of you.

Stay safe. Stay positive. Take care of each other. Give each other love and grace in these trying times. We will be back, stronger than ever, in the near future.
