Moises “Curly” Serrano or Rott has died

Rott mourn passing of former member Moises “Curly” Serrano

Moises “Curly” Serrano, a former member of Los Angeles brutal death metal band Rott, has passed away.

Rott confirmed Serrano’s passing on social media, remembering their former bandmate and the impact he had during his time with the group.

Serrano joined Rott in 2010 and, although his tenure with the band was relatively brief, the group said his friendship and support came at an important point in their history.

The band wrote:

Moises ‘Curly’ Serrano joined ROTT in 2010 and quickly became an important part of our journey. Although his time with the band was shorter than any of us would have liked, the impact he made will never be forgotten.

We’re incredibly grateful that he stood beside us when we needed him most. His friendship and support meant more than words can ever truly express.

Rest in peace, Curly. Thank you for the memories, the laughter and the brotherhood.

We’ll see you on the other side, brother.

A cause of death has not been announced. RIP.
