British heavy metal veterans Saxon have announced a new run of European dates for their “Gods of Thunder World Tour,” scheduled for March 2027.
The 17-date trek begins March 1 in Brussels, Belgium, and concludes March 24 in Tilburg, Netherlands, with stops in Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland and Italy.
For four performances, Saxon will also bring back their 30-foot mechanical eagle, originally constructed in the early 1980s for the band’s Denim and Leather tour.
The stage prop, built by Midlands-based company LSD using airport runway landing lights, will appear at shows in Brussels, Zurich, Cologne and Tilburg as part of the band’s “Castles & Eagles” production.
Frontman Biff Byford commented: “We’re bringing the gods of thunder tour across to Europe, it’s gonna be awesome! Can’t wait to open the heavens and bring on the metal.”
Tickets go on sale throughout the week, beginning Tuesday, October 27, for the Italian dates, Wednesday, October 28, for Zurich, Thursday, October 29, for Oslo, and Friday, October 30, for the remaining shows.
