Seven Kingdoms have announced their sixth studio album, Sono Sola, due January 29, 2027 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
The Florida power metal band have also shared the album’s title track and accompanying music video as the first preview of the record.
“‘Sono Sola’ is the lead single from our upcoming album, and our first official introduction to a new sonic era for Seven Kingdoms,” vocalist Sabrina Cruz said. “We’ve explored a deeper, darker landscape. Both in our tuning and in my vocal delivery, showcasing our collective growth and individual maturity to bring a fresh, unique edge to our sound.”
Cruz said the lyrics deal with lessons learned throughout life, isolation and the realization that some things cannot be recovered once they are gone.
“Ultimately, ‘Sono Sola’ is equal parts nostalgia and regret: like missing something deeply, knowing that hindsight is 20/20, and realizing you can’t get back what’s gone,” she added.
Sono Sola was recorded at Morrisound Recording in April and May 2026 with Jim Morris, who produced the album alongside Seven Kingdoms and co-producer Francesco Cavalieri of Wind Rose. The album artwork was created by Bo Bradshaw.
The announcement follows a successful crowdfunding campaign for the record and continues Seven Kingdoms’ partnership with Reigning Phoenix Music.
