Sounds of Brutality Fest 2026 canceled

Sounds of Brutality Fest 2026 has been canceled.

The two-day hardcore and metal festival was scheduled to take place October 31 and November 1 at Hard Love in Jacksonville, FL, with Merauder, Bayway, Shattered Realm, Execution Complex and more set to perform.

Organizers Kingside Records announced the cancellation on social media, explaining that the City of Jacksonville would not allow Hard Love to host the festival’s main stage. Organizers subsequently searched for another venue but were unable to find one that could accommodate the event within its budget.

Kingside Records said:

Due to circumstances involving the City of Jacksonville not allowing HardLove to host the main stage, we were forced to search for an alternative venue. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we were unable to secure a location that could meet both the needs of the festival and our budget.

Rather than compromise the fest, the bands, or the experience we promised you, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event.

Organizers thanked the bands and fans who supported the festival while stressing that the cancellation does not mean the end of Sounds of Brutality.

The vision for Sounds of Brutality hasn’t changed. This was never supposed to be just another fest. It was meant to be a statement for the scene.

This is a setback—not the end.

No replacement dates have been announced.
