Swedish death metal band Disrupted have announced their breakup, bringing an end to the group after 14 years together.
The band confirmed the decision in a statement shared on social media today (October 17), explaining that the split is amicable and that the members will remain friends.
“We have made the decision to put Disrupted to rest. No drama. No bad blood. We will remain great friends even though this chapter has ended,” the band stated.
Disrupted also thanked fans and supporters who have followed the group since its formation in 2012.
“We’d like to thank each and everyone who have supported us in any way during these years. Without you we wouldn’t have continued for so long.”
The statement was signed by Mikael, Thomas, Daniel, Klyven and Johan, with the years 2012-2026 marking the band’s run.
No farewell performances or additional plans were announced.
