The L.I.F.E. Project release cover of Suicidal Tendencies’ “You Can’t Bring Me Down”

The L.I.F.E. Project, featuring Stone Sour guitarist Josh Rand and vocalist Casandra Carson (Paralandra, Casandra’s Crossing), have released a cover of the Suicidal Tendencies classic “You Can’t Bring Me Down.”

Originally appearing on Suicidal Tendencies’ 1990 album Lights…Camera…Revolution!, the song has been re-recorded by the duo and is available now alongside an official visualizer through Frontiers Music Srl.

Discussing the release, Rand called Lights…Camera…Revolution! “one of my top five all-time favorite records,” adding that the song’s lyrics remain “just as relevant today as they were the day it was released.”

Carson said the track stood out because of its message about “refusing to conform or compromise your beliefs and standards just to fit in with the crowd,” adding that it was the right song for the duo to put their own spin on.
