The Noctambulant share new single “Skeleton Key” from upcoming album ‘Revival’

The Noctambulant have released a new single titled “Skeleton Key,” offering another preview of their upcoming album Revival, due out September 18 via Terminus Hate City.

The Jacksonville, Florida black metal band continue to incorporate elements of Southern Gothic, blues, rockabilly, goth rock, and American country into their sound while maintaining their black metal foundation.

Speaking about the new track, the band said “Skeleton Key” is about “the desire to achieve salvation and transcendence—by any means necessary,” telling the story of “using one body to reach immortality in another.”

Revival was recorded at Tri-Rush Studios, engineered and produced by E. Helvete and D. Franseth, mixed and mastered by Daniel Thabet at Liquid Studios, and features cover artwork by Dream Creatures.
