Tool are taking a “day-to-day approach” when it comes to their North American spring tour

Tool are currently on tour in the U.S. with Author & Punisher, Blonde Redhead, and The Acid Helps supporting separate legs of the trek.

Tool have just revealed their plan when it comes to the possibility of cancelling or postponing shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They write:

We are continuing to monitor the evolving situation with Coronavirus and are in continual conversations with local promoters and venues. The health of our fans, bandmates, crew members and all of those that work in and around the venues is what we are focused on. As of now, our March 14 date at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater is going on as planned but our March 16 performance at Maverik Center has been postponed. As for the recently announced North American Spring tour, we are taking a day-to-day approach so please continue to monitor our website (Toolband.com) and social media channels for updates.

Regarding tonight’s Oregon show:

TONIGHT’S EUGENE SHOW POSTPONED

Tonight’s TOOL concert in EUGENE, OREGON has been postponed due to the restriction on group gatherings of over 250 people that is now effective per the state of Oregon’s announcement late last night. The band was eager to play this show and are working to reschedule it. The remainder of the previously announced North American tour dates are currently unaffected.

All upcoming Tool shows are here.
