Twin Temple made their late-night television debut on Tuesday night, performing their new single “Haunt Me” on The Daily Show alongside an interview with host Jordan Klepper.
Released today, “Haunt Me” is the second single from the Los Angeles duo’s upcoming third album, Doomed Lovers, which arrives October 9 through their own Pentagrammaton Records.
The husband-and-wife duo describe “Haunt Me” as a gothic love song centered on fear, obsession, jealousy, and romance, drawing inspiration from classic American gospel, early rock ‘n’ roll, and blues.
In addition to the new single, Twin Temple have expanded their West Coast headlining tour, added a September 29 support slot with Jack White at the Hollywood Palladium, and will also appear on select dates supporting Danzig.
Doomed Lovers was produced by Shooter Jennings at Sunset Sound in Hollywood and features orchestral arrangements performed by a 37-piece orchestra (pre-order).
