With A Vengeance have announced their debut EP, Born To Survive, due October 30, and released the project’s first single, “Oblivion.”
The band features founding Bad Wolves members Tommy Vext and Chris Cain alongside former Bad Wolves bassist Kevin Creekman, drummer Austin D’Amond and guitarist Xander Raymond Charles.
“Oblivion” arrives with a music video directed by Michael Levine and featuring Lindemann’s Joe Letz as a mad scientist who captures and experiments on the members of the band.
“Oblivion is about questioning what happens when something intended to help starts creating consequences of its own,” Vext said. “It’s a serious subject, but we didn’t want to preach — we wanted to make a heavy, aggressive song with a massive chorus and let the video take the idea somewhere completely unhinged.”
Born To Survive was produced by Matt Guglielmo of The Acacia Strain, with vocal production handled by Periphery vocalist Spencer Sotelo.
With A Vengeance will support the release with a headlining U.S. tour beginning October 14 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The run continues through November 14 in Pomona, California.
