156/Silence have released their sixth studio album, From A Distance, today through Pure Noise Records.
The Pittsburgh metalcore band are celebrating the release with an official music video for the title track, “From A Distance,” featuring Alex Reade of Make Them Suffer on guest vocals and in the video.
“Love. Love is the most important thing in the world no matter what,” the band said of the song. “Through all the bad and evil, there will always be more good. Even if it’s from a distance, the love we share is worth more than anything.”
From A Distance follows 156/Silence’s 2024 album, People Watching, and features 12 tracks. In addition to Reade, the record includes guest appearances from The Devil Wears Prada vocalist Mike Hranica on “Cannon Fodder” and Tony Castrati of Crippling Alcoholism on “Collateral.”
The album also includes previously released tracks “No Arms,” “Swept From Under (Call of The Void)” and “Proxy Idols.”
156/Silence will support the record with their “From A Distance Tour,” kicking off September 9 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Aviana, Heavensgate and Fromjoy will support the 20-date headline run, which concludes with a hometown show in Pittsburgh on October 3. Several dates have already sold out.
The band will also perform at Louder Than Life in Louisville on September 20 before heading to Europe and the UK in October with The Devil Wears Prada, Novelists and Oversize. In February 2027, 156/Silence will tour Australia with Thrown, Boundaries and Volatile Ways.
