Artillery cancel “Made In Hell” U.S. and Canadian tour due to visa issues

Danish thrash metal veterans Artillery have canceled their upcoming “Made In Hell Tour” of the United States and Canada after the band’s work visas failed to arrive in time.

The trek was scheduled to kick off September 9 at Silk City in Philadelphia and run through September 28 at Astoria Pub in Vancouver. Celestial Wizard were slated to support the run.

Artillery announced the cancellation on social media today, explaining that they had applied for their work visas earlier this year but did not receive them in time to make the tour.

“Hi all. We are so sorry that we have to cancel the USA/Canada tour,” the band stated. “The visas didnt go through. We applied for the work visas early this year. But for some reason, the visas didnt come in time for us to make it.”

The band continued, “We really wanted to come and play for you all, but it will not happen.”

Artillery added that they are now looking into returning in 2027.

“We’re now looking how to make it happen in 2027. Again, we’re sorry, but its out of our hands.”

The canceled tour was scheduled to include stops in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Rochester, Cambridge, Quebec City, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Grand Rapids, Madison, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Sioux Falls, Cody, Boise, Bend, Seattle and Vancouver.

Further details regarding a potential 2027 run have not yet been announced.
