Abigail Williams begin recording seventh studio album

Abigail Williams have begun work on their seventh studio album, the follow-up to 2025’s A Void Within Existence.

The band revealed that recording has started, with drummer Mike Heller already completing his parts. The remaining sessions are taking place at vocalist/guitarist Ken Sorceron’s home studio, with the band aiming to continue building on the intensity of their recent releases.

“Recording has begun on our 7th full-length album,” the band shared. “No shortcuts are being taken; the goal is to match the intensity of our last two albums, and push it further.”

The new record is expected to arrive in early 2027, with more details to be announced once recording and mixing are complete.

The upcoming album will continue the band’s blend of black metal, death metal, and symphonic elements. The current lineup features Ken Sorceron on vocals and guitars, Vance Valenzuela on guitars, John Porada on bass, and Mike Heller on drums.

Abigail Williams recently wrapped up a European and UK tour, which included appearances at Fortress Fest UK and Zappenduster Festival. The band currently has no additional live dates announced.
