Alex Skolnick Trio will perform their final show of 2026 at The Iridium in New York City on Sunday, October 25. The concert will be recorded for a future live release.
The performance will take place at the Manhattan jazz club located at 1650 Broadway, with doors opening at 7:30 PM and the show beginning at 8:30 PM.
Seven-string guitarist Ron Jackson will open the evening with a duo performance alongside Skolnick before returning later to join the trio onstage.
The Alex Skolnick Trio features the Testament guitarist alongside bassist Nathan Peck and drummer Matt Zebroski. The group released its sixth studio album, Prove You’re Not a Robot, in 2025 through Flatiron Records. The record features original compositions and reinterpretations of songs by other artists, including a jazz arrangement of Tom Petty’s “Breakdown.”
The upcoming concert marks the trio’s final scheduled performance of the year as Skolnick prepares for additional commitments with Testament.
On November 7, Skolnick and Testament vocalist Chuck Billy are scheduled to join Metal Allegiance for a special performance supporting Sepultura’s final show in São Paulo, Brazil. The Metal Allegiance lineup will also feature Troy Sanders, Mike Portnoy, Mark Menghi and Phil Demmel.
Skolnick will then host a guitar clinic at Rooftop Galeria do Rock on November 8 before heading out with Testament for a tour of Mexico and South America alongside Immolation and Municipal Waste.
Outside of his touring activities, Skolnick recently released his debut instructional book, Jazz-Rock Guitar Improvisation, co-written with Dave Rubin. He also composed his first film score for the dark comedy horror film Traction Park Massacre.
