Apocalyptica release new song/video “Live Or Die” (ft. Joakim Brodén)

Finnish cello-rockers Apocalyptica have shared their new song/vdieo “Live Or Die,” which features vocals from Sabaton’s Joakim Brodén.

“The song, which boasts what is certainly one of the most dynamic liaisons in heavy metal – the spellbinding music of Apocalyptica and the potent, iconic vocals of Sabaton’s Joakim Brodén – is a fierce battle cry focused on the desecration of our planet,” reads the official announcement. “Apocalyptica and Sabaton have a new but notable history of collaboration. Most recently, the two bands recorded a version of the 2010 Sabaton track “Angels Calling,” released in November 2019, with a companion music video.”

The new video, which you can check out below, was directed by Ville Juurikkala and filmed in Berlin, Germany on January 25th. The track itself was recorded in Finland and was produced by Martin Hansen (Scorpions).

Previously announced, Apocalyptica will embark on a North American trek with Lacuna Coil this spring. The band will also tour extensively though the UK and Europe in 2020. All upcoming shows can be viewed below.

Earlier this year, Apocalyptica released their ninth studio album ‘Cell-0’ via Silver Lining Music.
