Ohio threesome Astralborne have officially signed a deal with Prosthetic Records for the release of their new full-length effort dubbed ‘Eternity’s End,’ on May 29th (pre-order).
Today, the band have released the upcoming LP’s first single, “Paragon Amiss,” in music video form.
Speaking on the new song, the band say:
We’re proud to reveal the first single from our album Eternity’s End entitled Paragon Amiss. With fast riffing, blistering drums, and gut-wrenching vocals, this track represents the more aggressive side of the ASTRALBORNE sound. It’s an unmerciful, hyper melodic, no-bullshit, mammoth of a song. Lyrically, Paragon Amiss is about the destruction of mankind through an act of divine punishment.
Regarding signing to Prosthetic, the label’s own Steve Joh states:
I stumbled upon ASTRALBORNE at the end of last year, grabbed one of their CDs and listened to it nonstop. They remind me of the classic Swedish melodic death metal greats and it’s an honour to be working with them and getting their music out into the world.
The band add:
It’s official! We’re beyond thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of the Prosthetic roster. After a few years as an independent band, we are ready to take our music to the next level and couldn’t be happier to be backed by one of today’s most forward-thinking metal labels. A huge thanks to everyone who has supported us from the beginning, friends, fans, and family. We’re excited for this new chapter for the band and look forward to collaborating with the Prosthetic team & sharing our music with all of you.
