British alternative rock band Basement have announced an extensive European and UK headline tour for February 2027 with support from Fleshwater and Beton Arme.
The run will kick off February 2 at Melkweg MAX in Amsterdam and make its way through Belgium and Germany before heading to the UK and Ireland. Stops include Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Norwich and Manchester, along with a February 18 performance at the Roundhouse in London. The tour wraps up February 22 at the National Stadium in Dublin.
Artist presale tickets will be available Wednesday, August 26 at 10 AM BST, followed by a promoter presale on Thursday, August 27 at 10 AM BST. General ticket sales begin Friday, August 28 at 10 AM BST.
The announcement follows the May release of Basement’s fifth studio album, WIRED, through Run For Cover Records. The record marked the band’s first full-length in more than eight years and became their highest-charting album to date, reaching No. 16 on the UK Official Albums Chart and No. 1 on the Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
Produced by John Congleton, WIRED features 12 tracks and marked Basement’s return to Run For Cover Records following 2018’s Beside Myself.
Speaking about the sound the band achieved on the record, guitarist Alex Henery said: “I never thought Basement could sound like this. But in my head, it’s what I’ve always wanted Basement to sound like.”
Basement recently returned to the stage at Outbreak’s All Points East event in London, following a run of intimate UK shows and a European tour that culminated with a headline performance at Outbreak Festival in Manchester in June.
Before their 2027 headline run, Basement will also appear at Canela Party in Torremolinos, Spain later this month.
