Louisiana metal band BRAT have released a new music video for their latest single, “Trophy Hunting.”
The track appears on the band’s upcoming sophomore album, Manslayer, due September 25 via Prosthetic Records. The 17-track effort follows BRAT’s 2024 debut, Social Grace.
Vocalist Liz Selfish says “Trophy Hunting” centers around reactive abuse and the dynamic of older men seeking younger partners they can control.
“‘Trophy Hunting’ is a classic tale of older men seeking a trophy wife that they can control. The video showcases the brutal aftermath of a young wife who has had enough.”
The accompanying video was directed by John Coglan.
Manslayer was recorded at Bricktop Recording in Chicago and produced, engineered and mixed by Weekend Nachos’ Andy Nelson. Brad Boatright handled mastering.
