Haywire announce new album ‘I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye’

Boston hardcore band Haywire have announced their new album, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, set for release on October 2 via Roadrunner Records (pre-order/pre-save). The announcement also marks the band’s signing to the label.

The first single from the record, “Interstate Love Affair,” is out now alongside a music video directed by Luis Hernandez.

I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye was produced by Citizen’s Mat Kerekes and mixed by Taylor Young of The Pit Studio. The album was recorded between studios in Leeds, UK and Toledo, OH over a three-month period and features appearances from members of NOTHING and The Aggrolites, along with several friends of the band.

The new record follows Haywire’s 2024 debut full-length, Conditioned for Demolition, as well as their 2025 For Better or for Worse EP and recent split releases with No Guard and Dropkick Murphys.

Haywire will spend much of the remainder of 2026 on the road. The band’s previously scheduled Australian tour was postponed due to visa issues, with their upcoming U.S. schedule now beginning September 9 in Milwaukee, WI supporting Turnstile. Shows with Circle Jerks and appearances at Louder Than Life, Riot Fest, CBGB Fest, Aftershock, Furnace Fest, Sick New World and Vans Warped Tour will follow.
