Comeback Kid share ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ video feat. Incendiary’s Brendan Garrone

Comeback Kid have released a new single titled “Yesterday’s Gone,” featuring guest vocals from Incendiary’s Brendan Garrone.

The track arrives alongside a new music video and serves as the latest preview of Comeback Kid’s upcoming eighth studio album, Chosen Hell, due November 6 via SharpTone Records in the U.S. and Dine Alone Records in Canada.

“We wanted to play to our strengths on ‘Yesterday’s Gone’ by establishing our melodic signature sound with aggressive upbeat hardcore, and a pummeling breakdown to tie it all up,” vocalist Andrew Neufeld said. “Having Brendan from Incendiary on it just upped the ante for us as he is one of the only two guests on this album.”

Neufeld added that the song went through several rewrites and lyrically deals with leaving the past behind.

“Lyrically, in Comeback Kid fashion it speaks about letting go of the past and not letting that weigh you down,” he explained.

Chosen Hell was recorded with producer Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in New Jersey. The 11-track album also features a guest appearance from Spiritbox vocalist Courtney LaPlante on “Shedding Season.”

“Yesterday’s Gone” follows the previously released title track.
