Dark Funeral have released their new live album, A Beast To Praise, today through Century Media Records (get it).
To coincide with the release, the Swedish black metal band have also shared a live video for “Nail Them To The Cross,” filmed during their performance at Fållan in Stockholm.
Recorded in 2022, A Beast To Praise captures Dark Funeral performing in support of their latest studio album, We Are The Apocalypse. The 13-track live release runs nearly 70 minutes and documents the band’s return to the stage following the pandemic.
Guitarist Lord Ahriman commented: “‘A Beast To Praise’ (Live at Fållan, Stockholm) captures a very important moment in the history of Dark Funeral — not only the live release ritual for ‘We Are The Apocalypse,’ but also our return to the stage after years of silence during the pandemic. That night at Fållan was intense in every possible way. The energy in the room, the fire, the audience, and the atmosphere all came together into something far beyond an ordinary concert.”
Ahriman also revealed that the live album and the band’s upcoming European touring cycle will close the We Are The Apocalypse chapter, with Dark Funeral currently working on their next studio album for a planned 2027 release.

Dark Funeral will return to Europe this fall as part of the “In League With Satan” tour alongside Behemoth and Dimmu Borgir.
