From Ashes to New have released a new version of their single “Die For You,” featuring guest vocals from alt-pop sister duo Neoni.
The original track appears on the band’s recently released album, Reflections, out now through Better Noise Music. “Die For You” currently sits at No. 15 on the Active Rock chart and follows “Drag Me,” which became From Ashes to New’s first No. 1 at rock radio.
The new version adds vocals from Neoni alongside From Ashes to New vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case.
Speaking about the collaboration, Brandyberry said: “Neoni has such a unique identity and brings an energy to their music that we really love. ‘Die For You’ felt like the perfect opportunity to bring our separate sides of the alternative worlds together and create something that feels fresh, emotional, and uniquely ours.”
Neoni added: “It was such a pleasure to work with everyone in From Ashes to New to add our perspective to such an incredible song. We had so much fun and we can’t wait for you to hear it.”
The original “Die For You” also recently gained attention online after the band defended a fan who received bullying comments following the posting of a video of her singing the song at one of their shows. From Ashes to New subsequently reached out to the fan and offered her lifetime guest list access to their concerts.
