‘Desertfest NYC’ will be back in 2022 for its second edition, here’s more info from organizers:
***DESERTFEST NYC RETURNS FOR SECOND EDITION IN MAY 2022***
It has been a turbulent two years since the first Desertfest NYC & following the unfortunate closure of The Well due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we weren’t sure how or where to continue our journey in the USA. It’s taken some time, but we are thrilled to announce that Desertfest NYC has finally found a new home, in the unique space of the Knockdown Center.
Taking place from May 13th – May 15th 2022, Knockdown Center will play host to some of the most iconic names in desert rock, doom & stoner as we curate a line-up showcasing not only our heritage, but love of all things heavy. With two stages across 3 days, plus a pre-party at Saint Vitus Bar on Thursday 12th May, you better believe that we are back & solidifying our place in the US with an immense celebration of underground music, art & culture. The first edition of ‘Desertfest NYC’ in 2019 featured performances by Black Cobra, Windhand, Elder, Monolord, Here Lies Man and more.
