The melodic death metal sensation Dethklok, known for their appearance in the Adult Swim animated TV series ‘Metalocalypse,’ is set to make a comeback on American stages with their ‘Mutilation on a Spring Night Tour’ later this year. This Live Nation-produced trek will feature support from DragonForce and Nekrogoblikon.
“I love bands that celebrate guitar and bands that have a lot of fun onstage. I also love bands that don’t, but for this tour, I think it makes sense to have a lot of dragons, goblins, and ‘kloks together,” says band leader Brendon Small. “If you’re going to do this, you gotta go big and over the top. This is going to be a very fun show for people.”
Last year marked the release of Dethklok’s fifth full-length album, ‘Dethalbum IV,’ as well as the film ‘Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar’ on Blu-ray and digital platforms. Additionally, the band embarked on a successful co-headlining tour with the popular group Babymetal.
