Philadelphia metal/punk outfit Devil Master have released a new single, “Death Anthem,” along with an accompanying music video.
The song is the latest preview of the band’s upcoming album, Bloody Dreams, which is due out September 4 via Relapse Records (pre-order).
According to vocalist/guitarist Darkest Prince, “Death Anthem” is an homage to Japanese punk/metal band G.I.S.M., specifically honoring Sakevi Yokoyama, who died in 2023, and Randy Uchida, who died in 2001.
Darkest Prince also noted that the song includes references to Satan, Dionysus and Kali.
Bloody Dreams features six tracks and includes guest appearances from Mirai Kawashima of Sigh, former Power Trip drummer Chris Ulsh, and Ur Èmdr Œrvn of Arkha Sva.

Devil Master will also be touring Europe in September, including a run of dates supporting Sigh.
