Los Angeles band Drag Talk have released their new single “Would It Kill You,” the latest track from their upcoming debut album, Drink The Ocean.
The record is set to arrive October 30 through MNRK Heavy and follows the band’s 2024 EP, Rosy Crown. “Would It Kill You” follows previously released single “Pony Up.”
“The occupational hazards of doing one’s True Will,” vocalist Jutty Taylor said of the new track.
Drag Talk features Taylor and drummer Hayden Scott, who previously played together in Ghost, alongside guitarists Ross O’Carroll, Matt Ripp Bennett and Neil Popkin.
Drink The Ocean was produced by Tom Syrowski, with recording taking place at his Los Angeles home and Henson Studios in Hollywood. The album also features guest appearances from Brendan O’Brien, who plays Hammond organ on the title track, and Ghost’s Olivia Morreale, who contributes backing vocals to “Welcome to the Aeon.”
Drag Talk are currently on the road, with upcoming shows continuing through November 8. The band will perform with Zoon for their Detroit and Chicago dates, while Filth Is Eternal and Integra Pink will join them for the remaining shows.
