New Orleans thrash metal veterans Exhorder have announced the cancellation of the final three dates of their 2026 “Tour of Unsound Minds: Act II” trek.
The affected shows were scheduled for October 15 in Omaha, Nebraska, October 16 in Iowa City, Iowa, and October 18 in Evansville, Indiana.
The band confirmed the cancellations in a social media statement, explaining that the remaining performances could no longer take place. No specific reason was provided.
“We are disappointed to inform you that we have learned that our remaining shows could not go on,” Exhorder stated. “Consequently, we have played our last shows of 2026, and now return home to begin the deep dive into bringing you our fifth album!”
The group also thanked their touring partners and fans for their support.
“Thanks to Parabellum, Intoxicated, Phantom, No Mas, all of the local bands and mostly all of you that came out to support us! Both onstage and at the merch booth- thank you for supporting small businesses!!!”
The cancellations bring Exhorder’s 2026 touring schedule to an early close. The band will now turn its attention to work on its fifth studio album, which will follow 2024’s Defectum Omnium.
Exhorder have not announced a release date for the upcoming record.
