Gojira have announced a special one-night-only benefit show taking place September 18 at The Sovereign in St. Louis, Missouri.
The intimate performance comes just ahead of the French metal band’s appearance at Louder Than Life and will feature support from Locked Shut. All proceeds from the show will be donated to Operation Food Search, a St. Louis-based organization working to combat hunger throughout the region.
“We’re playing St. Louis on September 18 at The Sovereign, and this one’s a little different,” Gojira said. “ALL proceeds go to Operation Food Search, the biggest independent food bank in the city.”
The band continued, “They feed over 200,000 people a month, and they turn every dollar into six dollars of food. So come out. It’s $30, it’s going to be loud, and all of it goes to keeping people fed.”
Doors for the September 18 show open at 7 PM CT. Tickets are priced at $30.
The following day, Gojira will head to Louisville, Kentucky for their September 19 appearance at Louder Than Life.
