Party Cannon are heading back to North America this fall, joining Nekrogoblikon, Aborted and Signs of the Swarm for a month-long run beginning October 16 in Phoenix.
The trek will make its way across the U.S. and Canada before wrapping November 15 in Los Angeles. New York gets a stop at Brooklyn Bowl on October 29, followed the next night by Boston and an October 31 show in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Party Cannon will also branch off for a handful of dates along the way. They’ll play with Aborted in Lubbock, Texas on October 18, while shows in Fort Walton Beach, Baltimore and Chicago will feature Party Cannon on their own.
The Scottish slam outfit hits the road behind Subjected To A Partying, their latest EP, released earlier this year through Unique Leader Records. The nine-track effort also marks the recording debut of new vocalist Daryl Boyce.
“We took a slightly different approach to writing this EP, we distilled our sound down to its four main components– slam, goregrind, early 2000s brutal death metal, and NYDM – and wrote a song that focused on each of those styles while still retaining the Party Slam sound,” bassist Clankenstein explains.
He adds of Boyce’s arrival, “Daryl ‘The Frogman’ Boyce’s first release as our new vocalist sounds like unfettered pressurized sewerage pouring all over these tracks, and we couldn’t be happier with how disgusting these vocals are, it’s a new era of Party Slam.”
The upcoming run follows a busy summer for Party Cannon that included a main stage appearance at Bloodstock Open Air in the UK.
