‘Impericon Festival’ 2020 pushed to next year

This year’s run of ‘Impericon Festival’ shows have been officially postponed until 2021. The gigs were initially scheduled to happen this spring, but were then pushed to this fall. The shows now happen next April.

Here’s full info (with new dates) from organizers:

Dear Impericon Festival visitors,

Due to the extension of the ban on major events decided by the authorities until the end of October, the new setting of the Impericon Festivals is also affected. This circumstance has been in the area of possible all the time – but of course this decision makes us hard. Due to the current situation, it is very important for us to find an optimal solution for all visitors, festival cities and bands. Much reduced audience and distance regulations – that doesn’t sound like the fat party we want to celebrate with you on the occasion of our 10th anniversary.

This is why we have decided to postpone the heavy hearts again into 2021 Today we can finally present you the new dates and the first bands. We are incredibly happy to be able to present so many acts of the planned line-up for next year as well. Our headliners As I Lay Dying will also be there in 2021 and are now playing – Vienna you can look forward to it – at all festival stations. There is also a big new announcement waiting for the guests in Leipzig, Munich and Zurich, as the fantastic Thy Art Is Murder are part of the game. You can see which bands are playing in the different cities so far from the festival posters. Here again the new dates at a glance:
