Iron Maiden kicked off the North American leg of their Run For Your Lives World Tour with two sold-out shows at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on August 29 and 30.
Celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary, the career-spanning production features material from Iron Maiden’s first nine studio albums. The Toronto crowd was treated to a 17-song set opening with “Murders In The Rue Morgue” and featuring classics including “The Number Of The Beast,” “Powerslave,” “Run To The Hills,” “The Trooper,” “Hallowed Be Thy Name” and “Wasted Years.”
The North American run continues September 3 in Montréal and includes two shows at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey on September 5 and 6. Megadeth are supporting throughout most of the trek, with Anthrax joining select dates.
