Lita Ford has released her new single “Dracula” through Frontiers Music Srl, accompanied by an official music video.
The track follows Ford’s recent signing with the label and offers a preview of new music expected in 2027. “Dracula” was produced by Gary Hoey and mixed by Max Norman, with Ford and Hoey performing alongside drummer Bobby Rock.
Speaking about the song, Ford explained: “‘Dracula’ is a song about an entity that represents seduction and control, eventually draining you of your life and everything in it. But there’s something fun about flirting with disaster, making ‘Dracula’ a playful fantasy.”
The release comes as Ford prepares for two Halloween weekend performances, including an October 30 show at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and an October 31 appearance at Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage, California.
Ford first gained recognition as the guitarist for The Runaways before launching her solo career in the early 1980s. Her catalog includes hits such as “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” the latter featuring Ozzy Osbourne.
Further details regarding Ford’s upcoming music have yet to be announced.
