Electronic dance pioneers Lords of Acid have released the official music video for their latest single, “Dream Boy,” which originally arrived in May.
Directed by Vicente Cordero, whose previous work includes videos for Ministry, Kat Von D, Black Veil Brides, and 3TEETH, the clip was filmed in Las Vegas using both modern 4K cameras and a vintage 1990s camcorder.
Band co-founder Praga Khan said: “The video was shot in Las Vegas with a cool mix of fans, friends and family, which gave the whole thing a really loose, fun and slightly chaotic energy. We filmed it in crisp 4K, but also used an old camcorder from the ’90s to give parts of it a grainy, timeless, almost otherworldly feel.”
He added that the visuals reflect the themes of the song: “There’s a broken soul caught in the middle of the chaos, while our Acid Queen (vocalist Carla Harvey) comes through like a dangerous angel floating in the smoke. The mix of modern and old-school footage makes the video feel a bit like a dream, a memory and a hallucination all at once.”
“Dream Boy” is one of three singles Lords of Acid have released in 2026, following “Karaoke Superstar” with Princess Superstar and preceding “El Mundo Está Loco,” featuring Tony & The Kiki. All three tracks will appear on the band’s upcoming seventh studio album, due out later this year and featuring Carla Harvey alongside additional guest vocalists.
The band also recently announced a second leg of its “Cheeky Freaky” U.S. tour, with 15 additional dates scheduled for October.
