Maryland Deathfest has announced another round of additions to its 2027 lineup, with Overkill, Repulsion, Left to Die and Azarath among the newly confirmed acts.
Overkill will perform a special old-school set consisting of material from the band’s first five albums, while Left to Die will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Death’s Scream Bloody Gore. Repulsion have also joined the bill alongside Azarath, Mortem, Secret Chiefs 3 – Holy Vehm, Imperial Crystalline Entombment, P.L.F., Bogside Sniper Squadron, Pig’s Blood, Thætas, Lay Waste and Blood Star.
Organizers say the latest additions “largely” complete the lineup for Maryland Deathfest XXII, which is scheduled for May 27-30, 2027 in Baltimore. Additional bands performing at Angels Rock Bar will be revealed around the end of the year.
The festival will take place across Market Place, Power Plant Live, Nevermore Hall, Baltimore Soundstage and Angels Rock Bar.
The lineup already includes Autopsy celebrating 40 years, Enslaved performing Vikingligr Veldi, Akercocke playing Choronzon, Exhumed performing Gore Metal, Insect Warfare celebrating the 20th anniversary of World Extermination, The Kovenant performing Nexus Polaris and Voivod delivering an old-school deep cuts set.
Other confirmed acts include Anaal Nathrakh, Candlemass, Demolition Hammer, Black Breath, Obscura, YOB, Onslaught, Naglfar, Vreid, Lucifer, Sabbat, Exumer, Brodequin, Benighted, Disharmonic Orchestra, Gorerotted and many more.
The final batch of four-day passes goes on sale today, September 2, at noon ET, with fewer than 100 passes available. Tickets are available through Maryland Deathfest.
Daily lineups are expected to be announced around the middle of September, when single-day and VIP ticket options will also go on sale.
