Meshuggah drop remastered editions of ‘Destroy Erase Improve’ & ‘Catch Thirtythree’

Meshuggah have released newly remastered anniversary editions of two landmark albums: Destroy Erase Improve: 30th Anniversary Edition and Catch Thirtythree: 20th Anniversary Edition, both available now through Reigning Phoenix Music.

The reissues are available on vinyl, CD digipak, and digital formats, featuring the original album artwork alongside newly remastered audio.

To mark the release, Meshuggah have shared the remastered version of “Suffer in Truth” from Destroy Erase Improve, while “Dehumanization” serves as the featured track from Catch Thirtythree.

Originally released in 1995, Destroy Erase Improve became one of Meshuggah’s defining albums, helping shape the band’s signature blend of complex rhythms, technical precision, and dissonant guitar work that would go on to influence generations of progressive and extreme metal bands.

Released a decade later in 2005, Catch Thirtythree took a different approach, presenting a continuous 47-minute composition split into 13 movements. The self-produced album remains one of the band’s most ambitious releases and notably features programmed drums throughout.
