Misery Index have released their first new single in four years, “Feral Future.” The track arrives as the band prepares to embark on their “An Epitaph for Endtimes” EU + UK Summer Tour 2026.
The band, which features current and former members of Dying Fetus and Pig Destroyer, kicked off 2026 by re-signing with Season of Mist and are now working toward their upcoming eighth full-length album.
Bassist and vocalist Jason Netherton commented: “‘Feral Future’ is about changing the way we think about our relationship with nature. Nature isn’t something we rule over or exist outside of. It’s something we are immersed in everywhere all the time. This song champions the rewilding of damaged and corrupted human spaces and reclaims a more feral connection that respects the sublime wonder of nature.”
