Moonspell have announced a massive European headline tour for spring 2027 with support from Iotunn and Todomal.
Dubbed the God Is A Vampire Tour, the trek will support Moonspell’s latest album, Far From God, while also celebrating the Portuguese metal band’s 35th anniversary. The run kicks off March 4 in Langen, Germany and concludes April 18 in Haarlem, Netherlands.
Moonspell are calling the trek their most ambitious headline tour to date, with plans for a new stage design along with expanded lighting, sound and video production.
“Far From God has been seen, felt and welcomed by both fans and band with an almost messianic fervour,” the band said. “Not that the band was facing its end, but doubt and a sense of impending doom hung over us. This album showed us wolves — and our pack — the way forward.”
They added, “Now we embark on our most ambitious headline tour ever. We’re bringing a new stage design, lights, sound and video production — and a hunger to make every night count.”
Moonspell handpicked Iotunn, from Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and Spanish atmospheric doom metal band Todomal to join them throughout the tour.
