Haywire have announced a special live performance at Rough Trade Below in New York City in support of their newly released album, I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye.
The Boston hardcore band will perform at the Rockefeller Center venue on Wednesday, October 14 at 6 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets for the event, though the band notes that no photography or video recording will be permitted during the performance. Each ticket includes entry to the performance and a vinyl copy of the new album. Attendees should bring their smartphone to display their album purchase confirmation, and will have 30 days from the album’s release date to pick up their copy.
The appearance comes shortly after Haywire released I Don’t Wanna Say Goodbye, their second full-length album and first for Roadrunner Records.
Produced by Citizen’s Mat Kerekes and mixed by Taylor Young of The Pit Studio, the eight-track album was recorded between Leeds, UK and Toledo, Ohio. It features previously released singles “Interstate Love Affair” and “Sincerely Yours,” along with guest appearances from members of NOTHING, The Aggrolites, Death Threat and Eyes of the Lord, as well as Cheyenne Snider and others.
Following the NYC performance, Haywire have several more U.S. dates scheduled through November, including appearances at Sick New World, Pressure Point Fest and Vans Warped Tour.
In January, the band will head to Europe supporting Comeback Kid, with stops in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary.
