German power metal titans Powerwolf have announced plans to take on Japan for their first-ever — and long-awaited — live debut in the country. The performance, scheduled for October 25, 2026, will take place as part of the Full Metal Japan festival at PIA Arena in Yokohama, where Powerwolf will deliver a headlining set.
Regarding the upcoming performance, Powerwolf organist Falk Maria Schlegel comments, “Nippon! We are beyond excited to finally bring the heavy metal mass to your beautiful country! Full Metal Japan will be a night to remember – promised! The wolf can’t wait to meet you all in the Land of the Rising Sun!”
Prior to their Japanese performance, Powerwolf will appear at a string of European festivals, including Barcelona Rock Fest, Wacken Open Air, HUK Open Air Sommer, and more. All confirmed dates can be seen below.
