‘Psycho Las Vegas’ 2021 offers new update

As noted, the next edition of ‘Psycho Las Vegas’ (including its ‘Psycho Swim’ pre-party) is planned for August 19-22 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Previously, organizers noted that “80 of the 83 bands originally booked on the lineup are returning in 2021,” which includes the like of Danzig (playing ‘Danzig II: Lucifuge’), Mercyful Fate, Emperor, The Flaming Lips, Blue Oyster Cult, Down, Mayhem, Satyricon, Warpaint, Obituary, Watain, Blonde Redhead, Health, Ulver, At the Gates, Katatonia, Thursday, Poison the Well, Zola Jesus, Windhand, Pinback, Boris, Eyehategod, Cursive, TSOL, King Dude, Pig Destroyer, Mother Mercury and more.

This past weekend, the fest followed up with a new update, stating, “Fellow Psychos, our time apart is nearly over, and a few things have changed since the last time we spoke. Yes, the festival is still taking place, but a handful of acts have chosen to reschedule to 2022 or, regrettably, opted out due to travel restrictions or pandemic concerns.

They add, “Obviously this is not an ideal situation, and the past year has been challenging to say the least, especially within our industry. With that being said, we have been working around the clock to present you with a revised lineup which will be revealed in May. Once the updated lineup is announced, a refund period will open for any attendees who would like one, whether it be due to COVID-related concerns or a change in lineup. An email will be sent to all ticket holders with further instruction.
