Progressive death metal outfit Rivers of Nihil have kicked off their 2026 European summer tour, which includes dates supporting Queensrÿche as well as a mix of headlining and festival appearances.
The run began June 12th in Köln, Germany and will continue through July 2nd in Lindau, Germany. Along the way, the band will perform at major festivals including Into The Grave, Hellfest, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Tuska Festival.
To celebrate the tour launch, Rivers of Nihil have released a live performance video for “Hellbirds,” filmed during a sold-out show at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland on March 16, 2025.

The tour follows the release of Rivers of Nihil, the band’s fifth studio album, which arrived on May 30th via Metal Blade Records. The record surpassed 2.8 million Spotify streams worldwide in its first week and landed on several Billboard charts.
