Japanese horror-inspired black metal outfit Saidan have released a new single and music video for “Immersed by Eternity’s Blade.”
The track appears on the band’s upcoming fourth album, FANGDRILLER: Scars Beneath Memory’s Wrist, due out June 19th via Avantgarde Music (pre-order). Serving as a prequel to 2023’s Visual Kill, the album follows the story of Junko as she struggles with heartbreak, isolation, and a mysterious cult known as Ethereal Blood.
Musically, the record blends elements of black metal, Visual Kei, gothic influences, and modern breakcore, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and unique.
In support of the release, Saidan will hit the road this summer alongside Trhä and Barbelith for a U.S. tour running from July 23rd through August 8th.
