The Metal Injection-fueled ‘Slay at Home’ online festival returns tomorrow, October 26th, 2021 at 3PM EST with special guest Barney Greenway of Napalm Death and in support of Center For Reproductive Rights.
Show runner Frank Godla says, “Much like the Motley Crue farewell, the Slay At Home finale went out with a massive bang, but possibly premature. Initially deciding to end things as the world “gets back to normal” and more tours announced every day, in the last few months it has become abundantly clear the pandemic is still a very real thing. Every day we read about tour drop offs, cancellations, postponements, and fill-ins during this unprecedented trial and error.”
He continues, “Beyond the quarantine, I also considered what Slay At Home represents; a place for the metal community to discover new artists, and celebrate the mainstays, all for a great cause. This is something I think we can always appreciate, no matter the status of the pandemic.”
He adds, “That said, I’d like to welcome back a new version of Slay At Home monthly with the first installment featuring Align The Tide, Aftermyfall, Varmia, Blue Ox, Aeolian, Noctiferia, The Last Martyr, Martyium, Under Attack, Paranoid and my special guest; Barney Greenway of Napalm Death!”
