The Metal Injection-fueled ‘Slay at Home’ monthly concert series returns on Friday, October 23, 2020 at 3PM EST for a brand spanking new virtual metal stream via YouTube.
“As always, the completely free livestream will feature never-before-seen curated performances from bands, cover collaborations, and more all in support of a new charity,” states show producer Frank Godla.
This month’s stream is sponsored by Metal Blade Records and will be in support of the Cancer Research Institute.
“The episode will be in honor of my father Frank Godla Sr., Eddie Van Halen, and Frankie Banali of Quiet Riot who have recently passed away from cancer. As well as Entombed’s LG Petrov who is currently battling cancer and collecting funds for medical attention,” Frank continues to say.
The upcoming stream will see performances by Brandon Ellis of The Black Dahlia Murder, Gargoyl, Voyager, Barrens, Cosmovore, Avoid, Lesser Glow, and Somnuri, including cover collaborations with members of Job For A Cowboy, Cadaver, Mrs. Smith, Flotsam and Jetsam, Night Demon, Gorgasm, Contrarian, Visceral Disgorge, Contracult Collective and many more.
