Stabbing Westward cancel spring trek, finishing new LP

Macomb, Illinois alt-rock vets Stabbing Westward have cancelled all of their planned shows for May and June.

Frontman Christopher Hall states:

Hey everyone. Sorry we haven’t posted in a long time. We were asked not to say anything about the upcoming tour until we had all the dates rescheduled but I’m going to disregard that. I know there are some of you who bought flights and hotels to come see us play and I want to give you as much heads up as possible. God knows I’ve had a nightmare of a time cancelling flights and hotels with fucking Expedia. but I digress. All the shows in May and June are totally cancelled. We are trying to reschedule the dates and a few have been but I will post confirmed dates once I feel a bit more confident that the lock down is lifted.

Additionally, Chris notes:

But we are also taking this new time to finish the full length album and put together some really exciting news for you. I hope everyone is staying healthy and strong and not getting too depressed. I’m going to try and come up with something special for you if I can get a few minutes away from the kids. love and miss all our fans.
