System of a Down have announced a one-off show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at Maracanã Stadium, with special guests Faith No More.
The concert is set for January 15, 2027, with System of a Down describing the show as a “one night only” return to Rio.
The newly announced show comes after System of a Down and Faith No More revealed plans last month to tour Australia and New Zealand together in early 2027.
That run will kick off January 22 at Accor Stadium in Sydney, followed by stadium shows in Melbourne and Brisbane before wrapping up February 7 in Wellington, New Zealand.
The dates are:
01/15 – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – Maracanã Stadium
01/22 – Sydney, Australia – Accor Stadium
01/27 – Melbourne, Australia – Marvel Stadium
02/01 – Brisbane, Australia – Suncorp Stadium
02/07 – Wellington, New Zealand – HNRY Stadium
The upcoming shows mark Faith No More’s return to the stage following several years away.
For the Rio show, ticket presales begin Tuesday, August 18 at 10 AM BRT for fans who sign up through System of a Down’s email list. General ticket sales begin Friday, August 21 at 12 PM BRT.
