tAKiDA share “Tale of four broken men” from upcoming album ‘Numbers’

Swedish rock band tAKiDA have released their new single “Tale of four broken men,” accompanied by a visualizer. The track is the latest preview of their upcoming studio album Numbers, due January 8, 2027, via Napalm Records.

The new song explores themes of anger, frustration and disappointment, particularly the emotional fallout of strained friendships.

“When disappointment/anger takes over for a minute and words are not enough. You lose all perception of reality for a short time because the disappointment between old friends is too much to bear,” the band explained. “You wish bad things to happen and hate becomes your biggest enemy.”

“Tale of four broken men” follows the previously released single “In your bed,” offering another look at the contrasting emotions explored throughout Numbers.

“Numbers is an album filled with rage and darkness but there’s also love and a bit of hopefulness in it,” the band said. “Sometimes that’s all we need. Because when those two worlds collide something scary but fascinating happen.”

Numbers follows tAKiDA’s 2024 album The Agony Flame, which reached No. 8 on the German album charts. The new record features 10 tracks and will be available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

The band will support the release with their 16-date Section 7 Tour across Germany, Austria and Switzerland in January 2027, featuring Ad Infinitum as special guests. The trek begins January 9 in Munich and concludes January 30 in Pratteln.
