Australian punk rock trio The Chats have announced a 30-date North American headlining tour in support of their upcoming third studio album, Half Cut, due March 5, 2027, via Virgin Music Group.
The tour kicks off April 7 in Berkeley, California, and runs through May 18 in West Hollywood, with stops in Seattle, Vancouver, Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Austin and several other cities across the U.S. and Canada.
An artist presale begins today, November 4, at 12 p.m. local time, followed by the general public onsale on Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. local time.
The announcement follows the recent reveal of Half Cut, the band’s first full-length album since 2022’s Get Fucked. Recorded at Maple Sound Studio in Los Angeles with Frenzal Rhomb’s Jay Whalley, the album explores themes ranging from hangovers and bad decisions to confrontation and personal change.
The Chats recently previewed the record with its opening track and lead single, “Off It,” accompanied by an official music video.
The band will also close out 2026 with a 17-date Australian tour in November and December before returning to the UK and Europe for an extensive run in September and October 2027.
The upcoming North American dates follow a year that included a Coachella appearance and touring alongside Social Distortion and Descendents.
