Mongolian folk metal band The HU have released their third studio album, HUN, now available via Better Noise Music.
Along with the album release, the band has shared an official music video for the track “Horsemen.” According to The HU, the song is inspired by the legendary Mongolian warriors whose discipline, courage, and skill earned them the nickname “Army of the Heavens.”
HUN—which translates to “human” in Mongolian—features 11 tracks that explore themes of human experience, introspection, and the band’s continued fusion of traditional Mongolian instrumentation with heavy metal.
The album includes the previously released single “Lost Soul” featuring Jonny Hawkins of Nothing More, marking the first collaboration between the two bands. The track is currently climbing the Active Rock chart and appears on the digital edition of HUN.

Since forming in 2014, The HU have built a worldwide following with their blend of traditional Mongolian instruments, throat singing, and heavy metal. The band has released three full-length albums and performed around the world, including recent appearances alongside Iron Maiden.
Following their recent North American headline tour, The HU will return to the U.S. next month supporting Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson before heading to Europe this fall.
